Hi, I'm Md. Shafiqul Islam.

Full-Stack Software Engineer | 6+ Years of technical Experience in Building Scalable Web Applications But my journey into software engineering started somewhere unexpected — in a classroom. Since childhood, I’ve always been curious about how things work and enjoyed exploring and creating something new. After completing my Diploma in Computer Science, I started my career in 2019 as an ICT Teacher at a college. While teaching ICT and Programming, I gradually discovered that my real passion was not only teaching code — it was building with code. In 2020, I made a major career move and joined Pridesys IT Ltd as a Junior Web Developer. Alhamdulillah, it became a turning point in my career. I was later promoted to Web Developer and received the Best Employee Award in 2022. During this time, I worked with PHP, Laravel, WordPress, JavaScript, Angular, and React, contributing to enterprise ERP, LMS, CMS, government and other large-scale applications. Alongside my professional journey, I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering, strengthening my technical foundation. In 2022, I joined IT Consultants PLC as a Software Engineer. Here, I work mainly with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Laravel, contributing to enterprise and financial technology solutions. I’ve worked on projects such as Dispute Management System (DMS), Merchant Management System (MMS) and other large-scale business applications. My role goes beyond writing code. I also guide frontend developers, mentor junior engineers, contribute to project planning and architecture, write technical documentation and help teams solve challenging engineering problems. Alongside my full-time role, I founded and lead TechQul, a software agency where I work with a remote team of 10+ developers. I lead projects from requirements and system design to database architecture, frontend, backend, deployment and client communication. This allows me to work across the full software development lifecycle and build solutions beyond a single technical role. With 6+ years of software development experience, my journey has taken me from teacher → developer → software engineer → technical leader and founder.
